INCONEL Filler Metal 72

 

INCONEL Filler Metal 72 is typically used for the gas-tungsten-arc welding of INCONEL alloy 671 cladding on INCO-CLAD 671/800HT Clad Tubing. INCONEL Filler Metal 72 is also used for the overlaying of carbon steels to provide a nickel-chromium alloy corrosion resistant surface. The high chromium level provides excellent resistance to high temperature corrosion, including fuel-ash atmospheres sulfur and vanadium.
